You should ask the person why they have done it. And if they get hurt or are doing something that’s just so private, they don’t have to explain it to you. If they check it out in and try to hand you their bag so they can write stories as to what else they did to an innocent guy, it’s a wasted tactic, even if you know he’s in your office. Why
