How can I engage in interdisciplinary research to explore the intersections between nursing and other healthcare disciplines for PCCN-K exam preparation? The purpose of this paper is to summarize and present the resources and methods that are currently available to stimulate this Interdisciplinary PCCN-K examination topic through a workshop. In terms of resources, several reviews of interdisciplinary PCCN-K training have been published: review of many sources published; review of the journals published and the resources available on them; reference on interdisciplinary PCCN-K training; editorials and reviews of journal articles; and recommendations on working with PCCN students and faculty. Theoretical and practical methods are briefly separated in the following sections. Current educational resources and approaches to interdisciplinary learning involving interprofessional nursing (N2N-I3) are reviewed in the supplementary data available in this paper. Finally the most recent publications that provide guidance about interdisciplinary research, in particular N2N-I3 as evidence-based intervention to nurses’ learning, and the current resources of interdisciplinary nursing (C22D-T20) for PCCN-K is reviewed in the supplementary files. Background {#sec1-1} ========== The Interdisciplinary PCCN-K (ICPN-K) is an educational intervention aimed at increasing nursing nursing training for learning and promotion of PCCN-K exercise in an interprofessional setting, as well as professional nursing.
